An ID issued on your name that carries commitments, not facts. You reveal one claim when asked, prove "over 18" without a birth date, and any verifier checks the whole thing against your name's own records — whose root is on the Chia chain — without ever calling the issuer. Take the record out of your name and the ID is revoked. Nothing is stored here.
Sign in with the wallet that holds the name. Fill what you want in the ID — every field is optional, every one becomes a commitment.
Load an ID and its wallet (or use the one you just issued). Tick what to reveal; predicates prove a fact without the value behind it.
Paste a presentation (from step 2, or one someone sent you). The verdict comes from the signature, the commitments and the name's records.
The ID is your name. did:namid:testnet11:alice.mojo is a coin on chain only your key can move. Every credential here is issued on that identifier, so one ID format serves a passport-style card, a ticket, a membership, a KYC result.
Commitments, not facts. The registry signs sha256(salt : claim : value) per claim. Whoever holds the ID file learns nothing; whoever gets a presentation learns exactly the claims you chose.
Predicates. From a birth date the issuer derives age_over_18, age_over_21, age_over_65 and commits each separately — so you can prove "over 18" and keep the date. Same for country_eu / country_us / country_in.
Anchored in your records, revocable by you. The hash of the ID sits in your name as _vc.ngid TXT namid-vc:v1:<hash>. A verifier checks that record (and its DataLayer root on chain); remove it and every presentation of that ID fails. No revocation list, no issuer to call.
Honest scope. This is hash-commitment selective disclosure (the SD-JWT model) — "zk-lite". It hides values, not the fact that two presentations came from the same ID. The planned upgrade is BBS+ signatures (unlinkable, true zero-knowledge) on the same credential shape and the same anchor; nothing here has to change for a verifier except the proof check.
